2009 Golf Tournament
2009 GOLF TOURNAMENT — SUCCESS!Over 160 golfers teed off July 16th for a terrific day of golf at Innisbrook Golf Course in Barrie. The weather was awesome, the course — ideal and the golfers...well — they had a LOT of fun!
Special holes added to the day. A "WIN THIS TRUCK" opportunity provided by Georgian Pontiac Buick GMC — Truck Centre went unrealized although there were a couple of close calls. In addition to the traditional "closest to the pin" and "longest drive" for men and women; golfers were treated to wings — courtesy of Doc Malones and a putting contest provided by City Direct.
Guests in attendance included Deputy Premier and Minister of Energy and Infrastructure George Smitherman, our own Aileen Carroll, Minister responsible for Seniors and Minister of Culture, as well as Stephen Hamilton, Manager Government Relations (Ontario Home Builders Association) and Rajesh Khetarpal, Senior Policy Advisor to Minister Jim Watson.

Among the winners of the day was the Season's Centre for Grieving Children who received the proceeds from the contests. Joan Kennedy, of the Centre was on hand to receive just over $2,000!
